Hello, and welcome to our Longridge Environment Group Newsletter.
Lets talk about Longridge
In our last newsletter we gave details on a LEG open meeting to discuss what a green Longridge could look and feel like. Since then, we have become aware that Longridge Town Council have organised a simailar open meeting on the 12th October at 7pm in the Civic Hall.
It makes sense then to postpone our greening Longridge meeting until later in the year when we can build on the feedback from this LTC session.
As readers of this newsletter and supporters of LEG we urge you to come along to the Civiv Hall on the 12th. We are hoping to have a display area and the possibility to share at the meeting.
We need your support though and ask that you share your thoughts for a vibrant and green Longridge, either here as a comment, or via email.
School Gardens.
We are supporting school eco / gardening clubs. If you have green skills, or maybe permaculture knowledge to share and can help, please do get in touch.
Trees, Trees, Trees …
We have been given a number of trees (birch, rowan, oak, cherry, sycamore and others) to be re-homed this autumn. Please get in touch if you would like a tree for your own garden or have a suggestion for a place which would benefit from a tree!

Supporting LEG
Many have asked, at our pop ups and in reference to this newseltter, how could they best support us. For time and other reasons, we are aware that not all can join our activities, so we have made it easier to support us with a donation. Simply use the QR code below and you will be taken to our Stripe page. Thank You.
